We leave today for Colombia. We just got one of the hardest moments over. Saying good bye to our little boys for 10 days. Already it is too quiet. I know they are in good hands. Both grandmas are more cautious than I am. And even if you are persistently watching over them, they can still get hurt. So really, I am not really worried about them. I'm more worried about us. :) Especially now that they are gone, I can be completely focused on what we are going to be doing. Going through all the security, making sure we have the right documents, keeping safe.
Our trip is called and Learning and Serving trip. We will be at a Bible Camp for the first few days to learn about Colombia and what it is like to be a Christian there. The next few days we will be with host families, being immersed in the culture, and also doing some work at a local church. The last few days will be winding down time - visiting some touristy areas. Then back home. It sounds so quick when I explain it like that, and I'm sure it will go by fast. I really just can't believe it is time to go already. Full report when we return.
