Giveaway Day - Fabric

Welcome new comers!!

Twice a year there is a Giveaway Day hosted by Sew, Mama, Sew.  Over the past 3 years I have won 2 different things, so I thought I would have my own giveaway.  You can click on the picture above to find many more giveaways - go click now!!  (Just a warning, it may consume your entire day...)

So today, up for grabs, are 4 pieces of fabric from my stash. (edit: I know the one on the top right looks orange-ish, but it is actually pinks. This is what I get for taking the pictures on a horribly dreary rainy day.)

The first is a yard from Midwest Modern by Amy Butler.  The other 3 are fat quarters.  I'm not sure what 2 of them are, but one is from Boutique by Chez Moi - that is the one with the pink background.

To win the fabric you only need to leave a comment.  You can tell me about your favorite winter past time, but it's really not a requirement.  I'll choose a winner at random at the close of the giveaway.

The giveaway will be open until 8pm EST on December 16th.  I'll announce the winner shortly after that.  Please make sure that there is a way for me to contact you if you win.  And I will ship internationally.

Oh - and my favorite winter past time - sitting with a hot beverage (tea, coffee, hot chocolate - I'm not picky) and reading a book with the snow falling outside, that's if I'm alone.  With the kids - I love watching them stomp around in the snow and building all sorts of snow creatures with them.

    Amy's Martini Dots are one of my fave fabrics. thanks for sharing. My fave pasttimes are being created as I have a 2 and 3 year old and everything is a little different every Christmas as they grow. So far, my favorite has been helping them hang ornaments on our tree. simplybeu@gmail.com

    I love ice skating!! At any time of year, but winter is the best because you can make use of the natural ponds instead of having to go to an artifical rink

    I really love winter (at least until February!) - I love reading or quilting or sewing with it snowing outside! Also, I love going for a walk outside after a new snowfall and having it seem so quiet because the snow muffles everything!

    Lovely fabric! I live in northern Florida, and my Sweetie is a manic outside Christmas decorator (think mega-decorator on steroids!) so I love to sit on our patio in the evenings and just soak in the many Christmas lights, and visit with our patio cat, Ms. Callie!

    Well, we don't live in a super cold environment, so it doesn't get snowy. But, consequently, we save money by not turning on the heat, so sometimes it gets a bit chilly inside! At those times, I love snuggling in bed with the hubby, watching shows and drinking hot chocolate. Fab!

    Favorite winter pasttime is to be inside during a snowstorm with soup bubbling on the stove and bread baking in the oven. It happens a few times each winter and I love when it happens. Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

    I love that 1st fabric on the left, we have a vintage 1966 camper and that would look so great made into placemats for her! My fav winter pasttime...doing anything but being sick, our entire family of 4 have been sick for 9 days now...no relief in sight. Gosh I hope I can win!

    I just got back from grocery shoppping. Normally I don't mind that but our store was having a remodel grand opening with some good specials. The 1st and 2nd times I drove into the parking lot I drove right back out! The 3rd time I found a spot. Inside there were loads of people but not as many as earlier apparently. It was still long,Loud, crowded and frustrating. I spent more than I'd planned and had to get rainchecks on most of the specials. I'm so glad to be home and with everything put away, able to surf the quilting blogs. Thanks for the giveaway.

    My favorite winter pastime is trying to stay warm while waiting for spring! Honestly winter is when I get the most crafting done, mainly because it is to wet and slopy to do anything enjoyable outside. Love your fabric choices for the giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win
